Why Jehovah & Jesus Cannot be the Names of the Most High GOD & Christ According to the Hebrew Language

Revelation 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; Rev 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. First John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that YASHIYA/Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that YASHIYA/Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Second John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that YASHIYA/Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. Joh 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. Joh 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. Joh 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

There have been a lot of misunderstandings when it comes to the True Names of the Most High GOD and Christ. With this information, not only will you now have the wherewithal to understand the names for yourself; you will also be able to defend the true Names of the Most High Ahayah and our Lord and Savior Yashiya.

First and foremost, as many people may already know, the letter "J" did not exist until about the mid-17th century (around 1634). In fact, the letter "J" was the last letter to be added to the English alphabet. Also, there are no J's nor "J" sounds when it comes to Ancient Hebrew or Greek for that matter. Here are some different references in case you don't believe me:

Wikipedia.com : J is the 10th letter in the basic Latin alphabet used today; it was the last of the 26 letters to be added. Its name in English (pronounced /ˈdʒeɪ/) is spelled jay.[1][2] It was formerly jy (from French ji) and still is in some dialects, mainly in Scottish English, where it is pronounced /ˈdʒaɪ/.[1

MedeivalWriting.com: The letter "j" is rather different to those discussed so far, as it did not exist in Latin and, of course, a great deal of the medieval literate tradition is in Latin; The letter "j" can be seen to be a Johnny-come-lately of the medieval alphabet, and had not quite established itself by the end of the period we are looking at here. It came to represent different sounds in different vernacular languages.

Also there are NO J's in the King James 1611 Version Bible proving that in 1611 at the time of its publication the letter "J" was non existent, thats less than 400 years ago folks, do the math thats simple arithmetic.

The original King James Holy Bible before the Protestants/Catholic Church removed the Apocrypha.

These are just a few sources out of many, but you get the point.

Now that we understand that the letter "J" didn't exist in the early 17th century(1600's), let alone during the time of Christ, we can now move on to the next phase. A lot of scholars acknowledge the fact that the letter "J" is a newly found letter and that the letter could have not been a part of the names of the Most High GOD and Christ. So instead of going deeper into the Hebrew Language to find the true names of the Most High GOD and Christ, they simply just substitute the J with a Y. Even though this is they have the correct concept, it still leaves room for error and confusion. For example: They'll take the J out of the name Jehovah and add a Y to make it Yehovah. Or they take the J out of Jesus, substitute the J for a Y and make it Yeshua. Let's see if these two names Yehovah and Yeshua are correct.

As we have mentioned in past studies, the ancient Hebrew language did not have any vowels sounds. To once again reiterate this fact, we will go into the Zondervan Bible Dictionary to prove this point:

ZONDERVAN PICTORIAL BIBLE DICTONARY

Bible (subtitle: Languages):

"The ancient Hebrew text consisted only of consonants, since the Hebrew alphabet had no written vowels. Vowel sings were invented by the Jewish Masoretic scholars in the sixth century and later."

The letters E, U, and O are vowel sounds. It is also important to mention that there are no V's or V sounds in the Ancient Hebrew. There's no possible way that the Hebrews using the Ancient Hebrew tongue could have called upon the names Yehovah, Yeshua, Yohoshua, Yashua, Yaweh, Yaveh, etc.

Now that we understand that the names Yeshua and Yehovah cannot be the names, we can now move onto the next topic.

When you begin to research and study the languages in which the Old and New Testament were written, you will start realize how the names Yehovah, Yahawah, Yeshua, Yahawahshi, Jehovah, Jesus etc. have nothing at all to do with the functions of the Most High GOD and Christ. Let's examine the name Yehovah or Yahawah using the rules of the Hebrew language. One of the claims that people like to make is that the name Yehovah or Yahawah or Jehovah means simply "to be". To an average unlearned person, this may make perfect sense. But, to someone one that has at least a little bit of understanding when it comes to the Hebrew language can see that this statement doesn't make since whatsoever. Example: The names Jehovah, Yehovah, Yahawah, and Yahweh are all synonymous. They all breakdown to the same base and root, prefix and suffix words:

HEBREW STRONGS CONCORDANCE

Yah or Jah = God or powers (H3050)

The problem is that Jah or Yah alone does not signify what god or power it's talking about.

Before we go into the base word of Yehovah, we'll first destroy the idea of Yehowah meaning "to be". When you look in the Hebrew, the word for "to be" is the base word "Hayah"[H1961]. The question for most people should be, if the word 'Hayah' means to be, shouldn’t it be actually included into the name of the Most High GOD? When you examine the names Jehovah, Yahweh, Yahawah, etc. Nowhere within these names is the Hebrew word for "to be" included.

So the question is how did they come up with the statement that Jehovah or Yehovah or Yahawah simply means to be?

Before we go into that, let's examine the root word for the name Yehovah:

Havah or Hawah or Hovah = הוּה havvâh

hav-vaw'

From H1933 (in the sense of eagerly coveting and rushing upon; by implication of falling); desire; also ruin: - calamity, iniquity, mischief, mischievous (thing), naughtiness, naughty, noisome, perverse thing, substance, very wickedness.

The question still posses itself of where did they get the idea of Jehovah meaning simply "to be"?

IMAGE OF THE NAMES OF SATAN AND NOT CHRIST: [link]

Which version of the Jewish Masoretic Synagogue of Satan name YHWH(Baal) do you call on? Jeremiah 23:27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

Now, lets use the same principles when it comes to the true name of the Most High GOD which is Ahayah:

Hayah= H1961

היה

hâyâh

haw-yaw'

A primitive root (compare H1933); to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary): - beacon, X altogether, be (-come, accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), continue, do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, X have, last, pertain, quit (one-) self, require, X use.

We see that Hayah means "to be" or "to exist". In the Hebrew language, AH is a prefix word which indicates first person or singular. Hence; AH-Hayah means that "I Exist", "I Be" or in the instance of Ex. 3:14 "I Am". See how simple that is.

Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Exo 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name FOR EVER and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Ex. 3:14 in Hebrew:

Exo 3:14

Shalt thou say [ויאמר] Thus [כה] And say [ ויאמר] I Am That I Am [ אהיה אשׁר אהיה] Moses To the Most High And He said

לבני ישׂראל [ אהיה ] שׁלחני אליכם

To you Hath sent me [Ahayah] Israel to my son

Check this out: Hosea 13:10 I will be thy king: where is any other that may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and princes?

When you look up that "I will be" in the Hebrew you get:

H165

אהי

'ĕhı̂y

e-hee'

Apparently an orthographical variation for H346; where. (Used in Hos_13:10, Hos_13:14). “I will be” is often the rendering of the same Hebrew form from H1961: - I will be (Hos_13:10, Hos_13:14) [which is often the rendering of the same Hebrew form from H1961].

Once again, let's use the same principles when it comes to the name of our Saviour. It's already obvious that His name wasn't Jesus according to what we showed you earlier. But, in case some still have doubts, let's examine the name Jesus:

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for heshall save his people from their sins.

2 Samuel 22:3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, [my saviour;] thou savest me from violence.

Luke 1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

Luk 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour

John 4:42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

So we see that the name of our Lord and Saviour should signify his function which is the function of a Saviour. Let's see what the name Jesus means:

Jesus = G2424

Ἰησοῦς

Iēsous

ee-ay-sooce'

Of Hebrew origin [H3091]; Jesus (that is, Jehoshua), the name of our Lord and two (three) other Israelites: - Jesus.

As you can see, the name Jesus has nothing to do with being a Saviour. As a matter of fact, what is the Greek word for Saviour? :

G4990

σωτήρ

sōtēr

so-tare'

From G4982; a deliverer, that is, God or Christ: - saviour.

We can see that Jesus isn't even the Greek word for Saviour.

Jesus? or Hey Zeus?? or BOTH???

Now we must move on to the Hebrew understanding that Christ was a Hebrew. When we look up the word Saviour in Hebrew, we get:

Hebrew Assyrian Text. "Picture Image" [link]

H3467

ישׁע

yâsha‛

yaw-shah'

A primitive root; properly to be open, wide or free, that is, (by implication) to be safe; causatively to free or succor: - X at all, avenging, defend, deliver (-er), help, preserve, rescue, be safe, bring (having) salvation, save (-iour), get victory.

We see that we get the root word Yasha which basically means Saviour. Using the same principles once again we'll break down His name in Hebrew:

Yashai or Yashi = Saviour

well Yashaiya or Yashiya its all the same, its more of the pronounciation than the spelling, by spelling it Yashiya theres more emphasis on the I

"Picture Image" [link]

At the end of Yasha, you get the Hebrew suffix Ya. Some might ask, where does the Ya come from?

Ya, when used as a singular suffix form means "my".

Hence: Luke 1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

Luk 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God [my Saviour]

Let's examine verse 47 in the Hebrew:

[ותגל רוחי באלהי [ישעי

The conclusion is that Yashiya or Yashaiya means "my Saviour".

or Check this out

this is savior in HEBREW

H3467

ישׁע

yâsha‛

yaw-shah'

A primitive root; properly to be open, wide or free, that is, (by implication) to be safe; causatively to free or succor: - X at all, avenging, defend, deliver (-er), help, preserve, rescue, be safe, bring (having) salvation, save (-iour), get victory.

YA SHA I.....the 3 HEBREW letters up above

יש this is YASHA, which is not the root H3467

[You will have to look at it in hebrew to understand] so it's Yashiya

Now lets get some some precepts to confirm the Messiah's name to be Yashiya....

NOTICE THE I IN THERE--->Root word יָשַׁע

Picture image to notice the I: [link]

So it's Yashai or Yashi

REMEMBER: READ HEBREW FROM RIGHT TO LEFT

well Yashaiya or Yashiya its all the same, its more of the pronounciation than the spelling, by spelling it Yashiya theres more emphasis on the I

Hosea 2:16 And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi[H3469]; and shalt call me no more Baali[H1180].

H3469

ישׁעי

yish‛ı̂y

yish-ee'

From H3467; saving; Jishi, the name of four Israelites: - Ishi.

So as you can see in Hosea 2:16 its going to come a day when people will call on the Lord as Ishi and no longer Baali, lets examine these two names. H3469 is the Strongs for Ishi which you can see in the Hebrew is Yashiya which means my Savior, my Husband, Christ is the bridegroom to marry us back to the Father and we are the bride.

John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

So Christ said he came in his Father's name. If we take the primitive root, HAYAH[H1961], of the Father's name, AHAYAH, and we add it to the primitive root, YASHA[H3467], of Christ's name, YASHiYA, then we get YASHA + HAYAH which is YASHAIYA or YASHIYA.

H1180

בּעלי

ba‛ălı̂y

bah-al-ee'

From H1167 with pronominal suffix; my master; Baali, a symbolical name of Jehovah: - Baali.

Also notice H1180 shows the Strongs for Baali, and Baali is a symbolical name of Jehovah. Hosea 2:16 tells us we will no longer call on that name and lets continue and read verse 17 to get more understanding...

Hosea 2:17 For I will take away the names of Baalim[H1168] out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.

H1168

בּעל

ba‛al

bah'-al

The same as H1167; Baal, a Phoenician deity: - Baal, [plural] Baalim.

So the scripture says the Most High will take away the Names[plural] of Baalim out of her mouth, that "her" is us thebride. Also when you look at the Strongs for Baalim it shows you that it is [plural], what that shows us brothers and sisters that all the other names that we are calling on other than Yashiya are the names of Baal or Ballim. So your Jesus, Jehovah, YHWH, Buddah, Allah or whatever other name that people call on today and think it is the nameof the Savior or of the Most High GOD is incorrect. Jehovah and Yahweh are also interchangeable. If you type Jehovah into any Hebrew/English translation website it will give you Yahweh. When breaking it down JHVH = YHWH...Why?...Because the J & Y are interchangeable letters and so are your W & V and since there isnt any vowel sounds in the Original Hebrew Language the jeWISH masoretes have injected vowel sounds for you giving you the names of the gods of the Edomites. This should be crystal clear and confirmation for you from what was stated at the top of this note the reason why Jehovah(YHWH) & Jesus(Yeshua) cannot be the names of the Most High GOD and Christ, its simple math.

YHWH - that name attached to the 5 pointed pentagram and 6 pointed HEXagram....make sure you research who you are worshipping, study to shew thyself approved! Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Psalms 119:128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

You have many who reject Christ's name under the auspices that Yashiya or Yashaiya is Isaiah's name. Is this true? When you examine the prophet Isaiah's name, his name is Yashiyah. Some may ask what the difference is between Yashiya and Yashiyah. As you can see, there's a slight difference. Yashiya ends with ya, while the name Yashiyah ends with yah. Yet, this slight difference changes the meaning of the name. Yashaiya or Yashiya means "My Savior". The question is, what does Isaiah mean?

As was shown earlier, ישׁע means Savior. Christ's name ends with י which is a Hebrew suffix and means "my". Isaiah's name ends with יה which means "god" or "power"; slighting changing the meaning from Christ's name. Whereas Christ's name means My Savior, Isaiah's name means "Gods Salvation".

There you have it the true names of the Most High GOD in Christ according to the Ancient Hebrew Language. I hope that this ends all speculation when it comes to the names that the Most High GOD has revealed to His servants in the last days.

THE NAME OF GOD

The concept of the name of the Most High GOD is one which has fascinated scholars and philosophers from the dawn of time. Let's explore how a little knowledge of Hebrew helps to enrich this quest.

Assyrian/Modern Hebrew Script & the Original pronunciation/sounds/name of each letter

JPS Hebrew/English Tanakh

Moses said to God, "When I come to the Israelites and say to them 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me 'What is his name?' what shall I say to them?" And God said to Moses, "Ehyeh-Asher-Ehyeh." He continued, "Ehyeh sent me to you.'" And God said further to Moses, "Thus shall you speak to the Israelites: The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you:

This shall be my name forever,

This My appellation for all eternity. (Exodus 3:13-15)

*King James Version*

Exodus 3:13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

Exo 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Exo 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name FOR EVER, and this is my MEMORIAL unto ALL generations.

"A PICTURE IMAGE" LOOK FOR UNDERSTANDING: [link]

I AM THAT I AM = אהיה אשׁר אהיה

I AM = אהיה

So if we look at the Assyrian Hebrew alphabet from the picture at the top we can get and see exactly what the Most High GOD's name is and how it is pronounced in the Hebrew tongue.

א = AH

ה = HA

י = YA

ה = H (in the Hebrew language the last letter of a word is silent and this is why we only have an "H" here, so it would not end in HA but just an H)

So the Most High GOD's name in Hebrew would be spelled אהיה pronounced AH-HA-YA-H which is AHAYAH!

Ahayah comes from H1961: [link] and We see that Hayah means "to be" or "to exist". In the Hebrew language, AH is a prefix word which indicates first person or singular.

There are no vowel sounds in the pure form Hebrew that was spoken by the Israelites other than the Hebrew letter "I", so NO E, O, U sounds existed, Ehyeh is just the English transliteration of his name AHAYAH.

"PICTURE IMAGE" [link]

[P.S " That" in the Hebrew is Strongs H834: [link] Which is Asher remember there were no E's so it will be Ashar]

Exodus 3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. Exo 3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. Exo 3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

[אהיה אשׁר אהיה] I'am That I'am in Hebrew read from left to right!

*THE HEBREW DYNAMICS OF THE MOST HIGH GOD'S NAME BROKEN DOWN IN ENGLISH:
Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh

So the Most High GOD's name, at least the one given to Moses in the above Torah passage, is "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh." What does that mean? In biblical Hebrew, "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh" is a deceptively simple phrase consisting of the relative pronoun "asher" sandwiched between two instances of the first person singular imperfect of the verb hayah--to be. "Ehyeh" is most commonly translated as "I will be." Asher is a remarkable Hebrew word. Imagine, in English, a single word that can mean "that" "who" "which" or "where." So the phrase could mean:

I will be that I will be

I will be who I will be

I will be which I will be

I will be where I will be

English has many distinguishable tenses, but biblical Hebrew has only two main tenses, perfect and imperfect. The perfect tense describes actions that are completed:

I walked

I did walk

I had walked

The imperfect tense describes actions or states that are not completed:

I will walk

I usually walk

I might walk

May I walk?

I would walk

A Hebrew verb that appears in the imperfect tense can be translated with any of these meanings. (Simon, The First Hebrew Primer, p. 94) The first Ehyeh might be one tense (for instance, "I am") and the second another ("I will be.")

Here are some other possible translations:

I am that I am

I will be what I will be

I am who I am

I will be what I want to be

I will be what tomorrow demands

It is he who creates what comes into existence

He brings into existence whatever exists

I will be with him that I will be

I exist and fulfill my promises

The one who spoke and the world came into being,

spoke and all was:

The one who spoke to the world at the beginning "be",

and it was, and in the future will say to it

"be" and it will be

I am he who was, am and will be

Ehyeh asher ehyeh--the self-existent and eternal the Most High GOD; a declaration of the unity and spirituality of the Divine Nature, the exact opposite of all the forms of idolatry, human, animal, and celestial that prevailed everywhere else. [It is]...however, not merely a philosophical phrase; the emphasis is on the active manifestation of the Divine existence....To the Israelites in bondage, the meaning would be, 'Although He has not yet displayed His power towards you, he will do so'....The answer which Moses receives in these words is thus equivalent to, 'I shall save in the way I shall save.' It is to assure the Israelites of the fact of deliverance, but does not disclose the manner. It must suffice theIsraelites to learn that 'Ehyeh, I will be (with you) hath sent me unto you.'

Martin Buber muses that "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh" has a special meaning because of what happens almost immediately before and after it appears in the Torah. He notes that the Most High GOD makes a promise before revealing his name:

But Moses said to the Most High GOD, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and free the Israelites from Egypt?" And He said, I will be with you... (Exodus 3:11-12)

and repeats it soon afterward:

And the Lord said to him,
"Who gives man speech?
Who makes him dumb or deaf,
seeing or blind?
Is it not I, the Lord?
Now go, and I will be with you... "
(Exodus 4:11-12)

So as you can see the Most High GOD's name AHAYAH is a very dynamic name, as is also the Hebrew language, and you cant break his name down by meaning or limit it to just I AM in the English language, but I AM is the closest and most accurate English translation to AHAYAH for your English Bible, which is the reason why you see it there in your King James Version Bible. Let's close this out by getting some Precepts to prove and expound upon the Most High GOD's name.

John 8:58 YASHIYA/Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM! (AHAYAH)

Revelation 1:8 I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

WHICH WAS = PAST
WHICH IS = PRESENT
WHICH IS TO COME = FUTURE

Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Isa 48:12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

Psalms 119:128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
