Sabbath Day
Shalom to the children of Israel. Its is important for us to observe and keep the Sabbath day as our Father has commanded us to do so. The Most High instructed Israel to observe the Sabbath every seventh day, (So-called Friday sundown to so-called Saturday sundown). The Sabbath Day is a day of rest; no work should be done on this day, neither should anyone have sexual intercourse. The Sabbath was established as a covenant and a sign between the Most High and Israel, It is a statue forever throughout your generations.
Genesis 2:1-3 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

23 And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
24 And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.
25 And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field.
26 Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
27 And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none.
28 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?
29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
30 So the people rested on the seventh day.
(So clearly in Genesis we see that the Most High finished heaven and Earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th day, so that day is Holy to Israel.)

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested

Deuteronomy 32:13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;
Job 22:26 For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
Micah 4:4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.
Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
New Moon Sabbath
Shalom, The Most High requires us to observe the New Moon. The Hebrew month begins with the New Moon and runs for 30 days, not 31 days-read Daniel 7:25 which ends one complete cycle of the Moon. The Moon has four quarters to it, which make up one-month cycle: New Moon, 1st Quarter of Half Moon , Full Moon, Last Quarter Moon (4 new moons each year) and it starts with another New Moon. The Seasons and the time of Feast Days are determined by the New Moon.
Psalms 81:3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.
(Is this verse we see that we are suppose to observe the new moon and blow a trumpet.)
Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
(Clearly we see that we are suppose to worship the Most High on this day as well as the sabbath day.)
Psalms 81:3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.
(Is this verse we see that we are suppose to observe the new moon and blow a trumpet.)

Passover / Feast Of Unleavened Bread
Shalom, The Passover which is the Feast of Unleavened Bread is celebrated in memory of the Most High sending his death angel through Egypt and killing all the first born of the Egyptians, and passing over the House of Israel in Egypt. the Passover which is the Feast of Unleavened Bread. It is observed for seven days by eating Lamb; Unleavened bread which is a symbol of purity and cleaning, and bitter herbs which represented the bitterness of the bondage in Egypt. Unleavened Bread should be eaten for seven dyas.
Luke 22:1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
(Here we see that the feast of the unleavened bread is the passover.)
Exodus 12:26-27 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?
27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
(So in this chapter we read that the Passover is about the Most High sending his death angels to kill off all of Egypt fisrt born.)

4 And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.
5 Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee:
6 But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.
7 And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.
8 Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to to the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work therein.

Feast Of the Fisrt Fruit
Shalom, The celebration of First Fruit is the same as the Feast of Weeks or Pentecost. It marks the beginning of the harvest (barley) and seasonal offering of First Fruits to the Most High. The wave offering begins the morrow after the Sabbath after the Feast of Unleavened Bread Passover of the First Month (Abib). The morrow after the Sabbath is Sunday.
Leviticus 23:10-16 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.
13 And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.
14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.
(So here we see that we are suppose to celebrate and observe this and that it is a statute throughout every generation unto the Most High.)
Numbers 28:26 Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the LORD, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:

Memorial Of Blowing Trumpets
Shalom, The Memorial of Blowing Trumpets, came on the 1st Day Seventh month, and is celebrated by the Priest to mark the end of the harvest season. And all the blessing the Most High gave to Israel throughout the year in their crops. Also, the New Moon is observed as a Sabbath Day, a Holy Convocation throughout your generations.
Leviticus 23:24-25 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
(Its clear that in the 7th month on the first day we are suppose to have a memorial blowing of trumpets as a Holy convocation.)

Day Of Atonement
Shalom, The Most High required the Israelites to fast or afflict your souls, once a year to make an atonement for their sins they had committed the whole year. The Day of Atonement is observed on the Seventh month 10th day by having a Sabbath and every soul must be afflicted (Fast). It is a Holy Convocation throughout your generations.
Leviticus 23:27-32 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.
29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.

Feast Of Tabernacles
Shalom, The Most High required Israel to have celebration to commemorate their wandering in the wilderness for forty years. First day is a Sabbath and the last day is a Sabbath. The Most HIgh required Israel to dwell in booths made out of boughs of trees and branches of palm trees, to commemorate our dwelling in booths in the wilderness. Feast of Tabernacles begins on the 15th day of the Seventh month to the 22nd day. It is a Holy Convocation throughout your generations.
Leviticus 23:33-44 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.
35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work .therein.
36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
37 These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
38 Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.
39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
42 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
43 That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.
(As we just have read that the Feast Of Tabernacles is a holy convenant with the children of Israel.)
Deuteronomy 16:13-15 Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:
14 And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.
15 Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.
(In Deuteronomy we see that we should observe the feast of the tabernacles seven days.)
Leviticus 23:33-44 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.

37 These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
38 Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.
39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
42 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
43 That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.
(As we just have read that the Feast Of Tabernacles is a holy convenant with the children of Israel.)
Deuteronomy 16:13-15 Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:
14 And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.
15 Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.
(In Deuteronomy we see that we should observe the feast of the tabernacles seven days.)
Feast of Dedication
Shalom, in 168 BC Jerusalem the Temple was plundered and destroyed by the Greeks und Antiochus IV. Under the military leadership of Judas Maccabeus in 165 BC. The city and The Temple were taken back and re-established. The Temple was repaired and dedicated to The Most High for the victory over the Greeks. The Jews under Judas Maccabeus ordained that the days of dedication would be kept for eights days from the 25th of the Ninth month to 3rd day of the Tenth month. Apocrypha, 1 Maccabeus 4:52-59 It is marked by the lighting of eight candles one on each day of the feast. The First Day is a Sabbath; it is a Holy Convocation throughout your generations.
Hanukkah - a dedication
John 10:22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
(As we just read a feast of dedication was held in Jerusalem in the winter.)
1 Maccabees 4:52-59 Now on the fiue and twentieth day of the ninth moneth, (which is called the moneth Casleu) in the hundreth fourty and eight yeere they rose vp betimes in the morning,
53 And offered sacrifice according to the law vpon the new altar of burnt offerings, which they had made.
54 Looke at what time, and what day the heathen had prophaned it, euen in that was it dedicated with songs, and cittherns, and harpes, & cimbals.
55 Then all the people fell vpon their faces, worshipping and praising the God of heauen, who had giuen them good successe.
56 And so they kept the dedication of the altar eight dayes, and offered burnt offerings with gladnesse, and sacrificed the sacrifice of deliuerance and praise.
57 They deckt also the forefront of the temple with crownes of gold; and with shields, and the gates, and the chambers they renewed and hanged doores vpon them.
58 Thus was there very great gladnesse among the people, for that the reproch of the heathen was put away.
59 Moreouer Iudas and his brethren with the whole congregation of Israel ordained that the daies of the dedication of the altar, should be kept in their season from yeere to yeere by the space of eight dayes, from the fiue and twentieth day of the moneth Casleu, with mirth and gladnesse.
(We read in 1 Maccabees 4:56 in the Apocrypha that they keep the dedication for 8 days. Click here to read it)

Purim
Shalom, This Feast Commemorated the Jews deliverance from Haman while they were in captivity under Persian rule. Haman (Edomite so-called white man) was promoted in rank under King Ahasuerus, when Mordecai, Queen Ester uncle did not bow to him, Hanman sought to destroy all the Jews, by casting lots. on them Mordecai convinced Queen Easter to go before King Ahasuersu, to persuade him that Haman is wicked and an enemy to the Jews. King Ahasuerus had Haman and his sons hanged, and the Jews were delivered from that wicked plot of Haman. Therefore, Purim is celebrated on the 14th and 15th day fo the twelfth month and begins with a Sabbath. It is a Holy Convocation throughout your generations. In Esther 9th chapter explains it all. Esther 9:28 And that these days should be remembered and kept throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city; and that these days of Purim should not fail from among the Jews, nor the memorial of them perish from their seed.
